Deployment and Disaster Preparedness
Erway Ambulance Service is part of the United New York Ambulance Network (UNYAN) Disaster Response Team. As part of this team Erway Ambulance has responded to Natural Disasters and National Tragedies such as Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, & Ike, and spent many hours standing by at the World Trade Center Site during search, rescue, and recovery operations. Erway Ambulance provides to areas in need fully stocked, equipped ambulances and trained paramedics to staff these ambulances. Erway Ambulance has a Disaster Response committee that continually updates our preparedness status for disasters at home and away, and maintains specialty supplies used just for these responses.
