On Monday April 19th 2010, at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Albany New York, the United New York Ambulance Network (UNYAN) held its yearly Awards and Recognition Banquet.
Erway Ambulance Service of Chemung County, NY a Charter Member of UNYAN presented its Employee of the Year Craig May. Craig, A New York State Certified Paramedic has been employed by Erway Ambulance Service for three years. During that time Craig has stood out for his strong work ethic, excellent patient care skills, leadership ability, and initiative. Craig is a dedicated employee, In addition to maintaining his own skills and knowledge, Craig is a preceptor and is always willing to help others stay current with their skills and knowledge. Craig is an extremely valued member of the EMS family at Erway's. His work ethic and the pride he takes in patient care is matched by few. Craig rarely sits still, and when not running calls he can usually be found strip cleaning a rig or cleaning up around the station.
Craig and his wife Angela live in Montour Falls. They have two children, Kenny and Gloria. Craig is an avid outdoorsman and, when not on duty, spends many hours outside hunting, fishing and taking long walks with his dog, Duke.
